6 Steps to Implement Trauma-Informed Care - Feb 28th Session
People who experience trauma, especially adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), are at elevated risk for substance use disorders, adverse events, hospital utilization, and poor health care outcomes.

Trauma-informed care (TIC) is an evidence-based approach to delivering health care in a way that recognizes the long-term health effects of the experience of trauma. It is also an requirement (Phase 3) for nursing homes participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs.

The session is be offered twice (2/26 at 3pm & 2/28 at 10am). This is registration for the 2/28 session.
